Semi-stranger from the office: How are you?
Me: Ok!
SSFO: You look happy. 
Me: Yeah we’re going out to eat.
SSFO: The whole Marketing?
Me: Nah, just me and my friends.
End scene.
I spent the rest of the afternoon smiling feeling so grateful of the people I do have and yeah, I was (and still am) happy.
Why did it take a semi-stranger telling me for me to realize that?
